Super Is Admitted And On Drips (Maslinda Abu Talibs)

Super, our sponsored cat rescued from Shah Alam and looked after by Maslinda Abu Talib, has not been eating and she had been diagnosed at FIV+. As a result of not eating, Super was losing weight quite significantly.
Yesterday, Maslinda brought Super to another clinic and Super is now admitted and put on drips.
We are sponsoring Super’s treatment and medical needs in full.
Here is s report from Maslinda:
~she’s not eating for about 3 days before her FIV diagnosis. she refused force feeding by spitting it out. need to be on glucose every 1-2 hours daily but only managed to give 3ml each time as she struggles a lot. i cant force her much coz it will cause her to start hyperventilating. she’s having flu as well and with thick discharge from her nose, it makes her breathing difficult and she’s drooling as she needs to breathe thru mouth
~ she was diagnosed with FIV+ on 30th May. continued with flu medication and bronsyp
~ Given retromad starting from 1st june. but i dont see much different from what she looks before n after retromad.
~on 5th june, she was sent for subcut fluid as an effort to keep her hydrated. she struggles quite a lot, therefore and IV drip was not an option for the day. she even bite the line for her iv, was put on e collar for few second but she struggles more. let her on her own, she gets calmer and e collar is not needed, but at times she tries hard to remove the iv line
~ 6 june, super admitted. she’s been given IV drip and other plan is to get a complete blood test to check on the kidney and liver function as well.the vet try to draw some blood but it’s not successful.her temp is normal
~ vet’s plan:
1. put her on drip and get her back in better shape
2. get full blood test, once super is calmer
3. put her on nebulizer to ease her breathing
4. continue retromad and monitor her progress (appetite etc)
