Once again, DT has stepped in to help us out with Caty.
She will be adopting Caty after Caty’s eye enucleation surgery!
Isn’t that wonderful?
DT’s reply to me:
Hi kah yein. Of course, I would love to adopt caty. She is very welcome.
What a lovely cat she is,glad that they detected the eye problem early, and what a nice man mr.koo is. God bless his soul. Pls let me know when caty is ready to be picked up? Thanks and regards.
Here’s Koo’s reply to DT and an update on Caty:
Thank you very much for adopting Caty. My kindness is only in the rescuing and fostering which takes up a short time while I’m acutely aware that the adoption and caring for Caty willbe for lifeof which I’m more grateful to you.
Currently, Caty is settlingcomfortably at my place. Due to space constraint, I could only offer her a large cage placed in an unused but well-ventilated toilet. She looks forward to my ‘visits’ and would always jump into my lap, reach up on my chest and ‘kiss’ me.
She’s a very docile and affectionate cat, meowing in her cute way, never once bit, scratch or complained.
I’m diligently feeding her the antibiotics twice a day and applying the eyedrops at the minimum twice a day and up to 5 times as prescribed.
I’m very happy to report that she uses the toilet tray and has been peeing and pooing regularly which I’ve been cleaning daily. She also eats kibbles (kitten-type for more nutrition) and drinks from the water bowl.
The vet estimated her age to be around 2but not more than 4 years old.
I’ve already taken half-day morningleave from work next Wednesday to take her to the vet for her surgery and will pick her up after work.
You can also follow her progress on my facebook album for Caty:
Thank you very much again and I’ll keep you updated on her progress.
Best regards,
Koo
Now, all we have to do if to pray for a successful surgery for Caty, then a good recovery, and Caty will be off to her forever home!
Thank you, Koo, and thank you, DT!
