PICK OF THE WEEK
To YOU we are just dogs and cats,
To US You are the bridge
Between what was and what could be
Our hope to a new life.
Hi how are you? I am fine but I could be so much happier to tell you the truth.
I currently spend my time sitting in my kennel doing some thinking and going down memory lane.
I remember vividly a time when my two buddies and myself would run free with the wind on our backs all through the vegetable gardens, slip through the holes in the fencing and visit the folks at the school compound. Those were the days!
I was brought in here in the SPCA animal ambulance ( I was not sick though the two men in uniform just tricked me into getting on board).
The people at the animal shelter feed me well, make sure that my water bowl is always full and there are other buddies of mine around
Being neighbors at such close quarters, we soon became friends but the thing is we could only play with each other in the mornings especially when there was someone available to look after us while we played. I have been here since mid December 2011 and I reckon my birthday is sometime in August every year. That makes me about 7 months old now and I have been living this kennel lifestyle for the past three months now.
You know something it is beginning to get to me there are times when I dont grin anymore, it is just too depressing
What makes it even more terrible for me to take at times, is that some of the visitors dont think that I am handsomethey think I have played in the mud look.
I am handsome in my own way though and I have a heart and soul full of love and gratitude to share with you. Are you the one for me?
Will you and I exchange our wants and desires and read each other like a book? I know I can do that for you question is when and who is out there waiting to do likewise for me?

Hello people
Its me Kara. Could you wait a minute please, I just need to say something to my brother.. Bocca can you hear me out there? I miss you but I know I might get adopted soon cos I am cute and getting more loveable each day..maybe we can stay somewhere close to each other and meet up when we get taken out on walks.hang in there Bocca.
Okay back to you my friends,
Let me explain. Bocca is my brother and we were so close, we stayed together in the same kennel and would not let them separate us, we shared the same food bowls and the same toys and we always slept together on top of each other.. Then Bocca got adopted and now I am waiting for my turn.
I just love it when anyone comes and picks me up. I just stay very still and lick them a lot to let them know they are doing the right thing. Some people dont carry me right, so all the more I have to stay very still while in their arms. Otherwise they might get scared and drop me.
Being so young with my whole life ahead of me there is always something to yap about so I do yap a lot. Of course when someone I like leaves me in the kennel, I will whine my heart out trying to make them come back. I know I am growing up as I dont need to whine and yap all that much nowadays so dont worry I wont be all that noisy when I am with you..
