Sha has decided to let Blackey be treated in Alor Setar as she had found a vet who is willing to do it.

Thanks for sharing, yes I know now I’m not alone.
I just came back from the vet. Yes, Connie is right. The vet (Dr. Ravi-Animal Centre & Surgery) is located in Pekan Pumpong,Alor Setar about 50 minutes drive from home. After careful thought and consideration, I have decided to send her to Alor Star. Thanks to all of you for the help you’ve given me thus far by reading your posts and personal emails.
This treatment is not cheap but living with this pain for the rest of her life is not an option. She’s been through a lot, its time for me to pay back. I am taking care of her 7-weeks old kitten now. Blackey is so attached to her little kitten.
I am trying hard to pull my money out to help her but I cannot afford to bear her total cost. In addition I am a part-time research student too. Therefore, I am going to appeal from various sources for donation to help Blackeys treatment.Im planning to let her stay in the clinic for a month or two (or more depends on the situation) until I am confident enough to bring her back under my care.
I was trying to be supportive but I didn’t set up strong enough boundaries and Blackey saw me crying before I left her at the clinic. This made me feel bad but I couldn’t help it.I hope she understands me, and I think she does. I can’t wait until she gets well and return to the neighbourhood.

Dear Sha, KTAJ-Scratch has pledged to jointly subsidise Blackey’s treatment with AnimalCare. It is good that you will be raising some funds too.
Getting Blackey treated in Alor Setar would have the added advantage of you visiting her frequently to give her emotional support. It is a good decision and all of us here support you.
