Introducing LASSie, the Langkawi Animal Shelter & Sanctuary Foundation, founded by a caring Australian couple to receive, rehabilitate and care for neglected, abused and needy animals.

The organization also runs the Langkawi Island Animal Clinic � a charity project aimed at the sterilization of the stray cat & dog population. The Sanctuary aims for a no-kill policy and cares for animals whose age, disposition or disability make them unlikely to find homes. They also educate adults & children to ensure their peaceful co-existence with both their wild neighbours as well as domestic animals.
