Hermione Is Adopted!! (Chen Chen�s)

Affinity sure is strange. After I posted Hermione’s profile on Petfinder, my inbox was flooded with requests for her. This is a very nice welcome after being abandoned. Anyway, at the end, she went to a family today that has another kitten that she can play with and grow up together. It’s a loving family with lots of laughter and the family takes the extra care to provide the best for their cats – stay indoors, quality food, lots of toys, lots of play and the choice of favourite human beds and sofas to sleep on. We talked about vets, vaccination and spaying and they are all planning to carry them out once they come of age. Plus the adopter is someone I can look forward to become friends with.

Again affinity is strange.�I drove to the adopter’s house and of course became hopelessly lost, and ended up at a mall where we met up. Even there when we where walking to the car, we were stopped by a security guard who saw Hermione in the basket and wanted her! Then there was the “I’m there first to claim her” talk.

Attached is a picture of Hermione in the blue basket on the way to the adopter’s house. The 2 kids who helping me take care of her were reluctant to let her go, especially Eva and I’ll kinda miss her too. But that’s life.
