Hayley is among three pups rescued from the Puchong pound that’s being fostered by Reco and Mikha. Apparently Haley had contracted parvo at the pound but the infection did not flare up – this must have been because the pup must have been one mother’s milk up to the point she was caught and dumped at the pound. However, the virus had destroyed a part of her intestines which had to be removed. Haley is now recuperating and will be back on her feet soon. Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
