Molly was a frightened cat living in a mall car park. A kind-hearted rescuer saw what a scared but gentle soul Molly was so picked her up and got her fully vetted. She was dewormed, fully vaccinated and spayed. Molly did test positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) but in a safe, indoor setting with high quality food, you'll hardly even notice Molly is a carrier for this virus. It also cannot be transmitted to other cats unless the fight with deep puncture wounds or mating. But seeing as Molly is a lover, not a fighter and she is spayed, the chances of her spreading FIV to another cat is exceedingly low.
This sweet girl doesn't like loud noises, but she's also super good and gentle with children. She allows herself to be held and read to, sang to, and will sit still when a child places Molly on her lap. Molly is also coming more and more out of her shell and will even greet strangers sometimes. Molly is also a protective auntie who watches over younger cats and human kiddos alike, in a very loving manner!
Molly would be an awesome cat for a first-time cat parent or a home with existing cats, as she really enjoys the company of other cats, especially kittens! She integrated very fast with all the other cats in the foster home, both with kittens and the adult cats.
