UPDATE: I am pleased to inform that Jean has been adopted.
During one of my daily feeding rounds, I noticed from afar a cat that was hobbling, struggling to walk with much difficulty. For almost a week, she went into hiding before I could get her, obviously in much pain.It was a most anxious time for me as I knew she need medical attention urgently (this was in April during the MCO). Thankfully she reappeared one evening, driven by hunger. Finally I could take her to the vet. An x-ray showed that she had a fracture on her right hind leg and an operation to insert a metal plate was successfully completed a few days later when her condition stabilised. After recuperating at the clinic, she was well enough to be discharged and rested at my home before the suture were removed the following week.
The surgery and pre- and postcare at the vet cost RM1500. I hope you can support my efforts in caring for the community cats by considering a contribution to the bill. Your generosity is very much appreciated.
As she deserves a better life than living on the streets, Jean is available for adoption. She has been spayed and treated for fleas and ear mites. Please consider providing her a permanent loving home where she can roam indoors freely and safely.
