Mia has had several owners. An expat couple originally adopted her from Cat Beach but then had to move back to their country so gave her to be a companion to an elderly woman who got cancer. Mia has been a great friend but scratched the woman by accident and the scratch became infected. Heartbreakingly, her doctor insisted that she must get rid of the cat. Now Mia is slowly adjusting at Cat Beach but would be happier as a sweet indoor cat and kitty companion
