9th October 2010: Blackie Boy has been healthy for over 3 months now, and he's part of a loving family with parents, bro, sis + maid and a garden for him to roam and grass to laze around! Praise God!
++++
17th July 2010: BLACKIE BOY CAN EAT AGAIN!!!!
Sunday and Monday are such historic days, as on Sunday night, Blackie Boy drank from the drinking bowl on his own..and then this morning, he took 2 kibbles from the doctor's hand, and in the afternoon ate an ENTIRE BOWL of kibbles on his own!!!
He's a very easy to take care dog.. just give him loads of affection, combined with gentleness..and he'd reward you by being your best friend who'd follow you all around the house!!!
7th July 2010
Blackie Boy is a very adorable mutt who loves following people around. He response well to his name and would get up and greet people he loves.
He is a distemper survival(after perhaps catching it from the vet while he was sent for neutering in late January), and as such we're seeking a home for his family would be caring and loving enough to spend time with him, so they can enjoy seeing his wonderful progress.
He has a very very dedicated family with the help of a maid who has been nursing him to health, feeding him 2x daily, ensuring his immune boosters and supplements are given on time.
While his foster family is doing their very best to nurture him back to full health, we'd really like a permanent family for him, one where he'd be properly cared for and have room to roll and rest in the grass.
His current needs:
1) hand-fed on soft food (Nature's Gift, Chicken & Oats) - though he's expected to eat on his own anytime! he also loves crunching on kibbles, though need some persuasion to take it initally!
2) supplement: neurobion, velcote, vetri-dmg
3) be kept in leash free environment and to have a sheltered area should it rain/gets too sunny
Blackie Boy is a very HANDSOME DARLING! He needs a bit more attention now, and it's very rewarding to be part of his recovery. He's an ideal family pet for dog-lovers! Would suit those who either have experience with dogs, or genuinely loves dogs and know what it means to commit to having a dog as a pet.
Note: He has very good natural guarding instincts though he's yet to bark at strangers because he hasn't fully regained all his strenght.
Please call to provide him with a loving home.
Do give Blackie Boy a chance to life!
Note: This is the same dog as the other one i've uploaded "Blackie Boy." However, this is retained as the address for this is being circulated by friends who have been helping him find a good home all these while! Now he's finally healthy and ready for a loving family.
