I rescued Comel from my neighbour's garden during a rainy night. She was ferocious, and drenched and all wet, but small like a ball of fur. I put her in one of the cages (or as they like to view it, apartments!) and she would bare her teeth whenever I approached too close. One quirky thing about Comel that I saw really on, is that she eats like a rabbit. She had a litter mate that she shared a plate of wet food with, and she would make a straight line, as if she knew where her portion ended and being all fair and square, not wanting to eat her litter-mate's portion.
Her favorite toy is small mouse plushies, the ones that you can easily find in a bucket at pet shops.
Comel has grown docile and manja over time. She is potty trained.
All my rescue cats are trained to use a special dustpan as their 'toilet bowl'. It is cost-effective, easier to clean as well as sanitary. Just place a dustpan somewhere she can see (preferably in a toilet so you can just dump the waste into the toilet bowl and flush it away) and she will do the rest herself. She may needs time to orient herself for the first week in a new home, so you might have to guide her.
I am looking for someone who wants to love Comel, give her a new home, take good care of her, and put her indoors all the time.
All potential adopters are subjected to a brief interview. WhatsApp me if you are interested in Comel!
