Mayumi means ‘gentle beauty’. Mayumi used to be a community cat at KL Sentral but she was not just any other cat. She would come running to greet friendly regular commuters who stopped to pet or feed her. The highlight of my day was head bunts to my leg and loud purrs when I walked past. I rescued Mayumi just before the MCO. Once an indoor cat, her unique personality is even more striking. She is shy at first with new humans but learns to love devotedly with time. She is a quiet, low-maintenance cat. She has a unique squawk-like miaw and will miaw back if you talk to her. Mayumi is available to be adopted by a genuine cat lover who understands that cat adoption is for ever. She is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed. She is good with other cats but not dogs.
More background: Why Mayumi is so special? - Back in her life as a stray, Mayumi and another cat both had a litter of kittens each at the same time. The other mama cat wanted nothing to do with the kittens. Mayumi raised both litters. Another abandoned stray kitten found in the vicinity without a mama cat was added to her brood. She accepted him as well. All the kittens and Mayumi were rescued together. The kittens have all been adopted.
