Munchkin has been wandering the neighborhood for the past 2 weeks looking lost and disoriented. I'm not sure if she strayed from home or was abandoned. The latter seems likely given the history of pet owners dumping their cats and dogs in this area.

She finally warmed up to me 3 days ago so I've taken her in to home her until someone else can. She is malnourished and dehydrated but nothing that can't be remedied. She is in much better condition now than when I took her in.

She's an absolute sweetheart and I'd keep her if I could but it's not possible. She makes for a great companion, is very loving, alert and intelligent. She is energetic and needs the time and space to run free/play everyday. I live in a small house but I take her for walks twice a day and let her loose in an empty field nearby where I run and play with her for 15 mins.
