I stumbled upon Satay and her three kittens trying to eat leftover garbage on the floor at a hawker center. Thankfully, Satay was in pretty good shape but her kittens were suffering from flu and eye infections. I bent down and reached out my hand to assess her temperament as I did not have a carrier or trap on me. She gave my hand a quick sniff, then immediately started purring and bunting my head. My friend carried the three kittens in her bag while I hugged Satay in my arms to the car, her purring the entire time, with no struggle at all.
She was spayed the next day and has fully recovered. She has a wonderful temperament - not wary of strangers, loves attention and pets, and a darling lap cat. She loves to snuggle against me when I'm sitting or lying down, asking me to hold her hand while she sleeps. Her default expression is the "blep", where she sticks her tongue out a little bit and gives me a loving expression saying "Okay, can you pet me now?"
Satay eats very well, even though she's had all of her teeth extracted because they were in bad shape - she's not picky about kibble, wet food and raw food. She's a happy girl who's a wonderful mom to her kittens but her kitten-bearing days on the streets are OVER! Please let us know if you're able to give this mama cat a loving home. She's been defleaed, dewormed, vaccinated and spayed.
Satay is looking for a home that can provide her with lots of cuddles because she'll come sit in your lap as soon as you sit down. She will also want to sleep with you! Satay also loves to chat with you.
We do have a short application process. We also insist that all cats adopted from us be indoor cats and spayed/neutered when old enough.
