I have experiences with german shepherd b4 n currently have a 10yrs old senior golden retriever who is v ery gentle to other dogs n will definitely be a big bro to this puppy throughout their growing stages. I have a big front porch for them to run around and i do w ant to have a guard dog in

Dogs don’t really grow into guard dogs, they have to be properly trained and not all dogs have suitable temperament so if u want one just get it regardless of whether they become suitable guard dogs
