Jerry is a friendly kitty. Chomel can be a little timid at times, but it doesn't take long at all for her to open up to you. Jerry purrs when you touch him, even if you two just met! He is calm and playful. Jerry has this look in his eyes that could just put you out of your stress and invite you to play with him.
They can be taken separately, or together.
Here is the story of Jerry & Chomel's life:
Jerry, his sibling Chomel and his mama cat made their home at a kindergarten, underneath an exterior sink. It wasn't an ideal place, but there wasn't much of a choice...
Jerry and Chomel knew it wasn't a safe place for them, what with parents' and teachers' grumbling cars and pick-up vans coming in and out of the compound, plus the fact that it opens directly to the street and on top of that, hawker stalls on the side roads which add to more traffic. So Jerry and Chomel never wandered farther than the gates, and they knew where to stay safe during heavy traffic.
While people can be very mindful drivers, most of the times they do not know if a kitten/s is playing underneath their tire. So Jerry and Chomel suffered many losses.
When rain falls, Jerry and Chomel gets wet. When the wind is cold, Jerry and Chomel curl up close, and shiver together. When the day is bright and there are no cars around, Jerry and Chomel play like there is no end!
The security guard at the kindergarten, Halidah, felt pity and brought them home. She fed them, played with them, provided litter and gave them an overall safer place to stay. Halidah didn't have much free time in her pocket, being a security guard 7-to-7, walking almost a mile to and back, but she tried to make time for the kittens. A few days later the mother cat escaped Halidah's house when she opened her door to enter the 1-bedroom apartment. So now it leaves the two kittens; Jerry and Chomel.
Due to health and financial concerns, Halidah decided that she could not keep them in her small apartment for long. So she handed them to my care, to be given up for adoption. As a fosterer, I must say they are one the most tractable kittens I have ever had the opportunity to foster. Easy to take care of. Eats wet and dry food. Able to adapt in a different environment rather quickly.
Jerry and Chomel needs a home.
