Morty, short for Dr. Moriarty, and his brother Sherlock were found living under some shrubbery at a very busy intersection. They were starving but otherwise in good shape. I named the little ginger after Sherlock Holmes' mastermind nemesis because I tried for three days in a row to trap this kitten and he outsmarted me at least four times before I was successful. He was just so intelligent and wouldn't fall for any of my usual tricks!

When I did finally catch him (three days after his brother, Sherlock), I was amazed to see how surprisingly docile and sweet he was. He's for sure more wary than Sherlock, but we are in the process of socializing them both very quickly.

Morty absolutely loves to eat and is not fussy. He also loves to play with fishing rod toys. He has been dewormed, and will be vaccinated before he is adopted. He is otherwise very healthy.
