Dear friends, meet Boyot.
A lot of you in Langkawi are already familiar with her case. Boyot, like so many others here, has the unfortunate luck of being a homeless dog in a society that hates dogs. However, unlike so many others here, Boyot is loved by someone unexpected and all our dog-loving hearts breathed a collective sigh of relief that maybe there is some hope for our canine friends in Langkawi after all. To protect her identity let's call that someone Cik B.
Much to her landlord's consternation, Cik B befriended Boyot. Long story short, Cik B and Boyot became the target of threats. Cik B had to move out of the house. The council dog catchers were called and Boyot was caught. She spent a night at the council pound before she was rescued by Cik B. Boyot is now boarding at a clinic but we can't keep her there in a cage forever. She needs a loving home and a family.
Boyot is a sweet and calm dog with a very gentle demeanor. Smaller than our typical Malaysian dog. She enjoys long walks and used to accompany and protect Cik B on her jogs. She's a little shy with new people but eager to make friends. She's very excited and happy when she sees other dogs. She is desperate to be loved. If you can foster or adopt please PM me and I will put you in touch with Cik B. We can provide Boyot's food and any medical care. Cik B would like to be able to visit occasionally.
Boyot has been spayed, vaccinated, frontlined, and dewormed. We can make arrangements to send her to a loving home in Penang, KL, Selangor or overseas.
