Zara has had a very difficult six months. When she joined my family 2 months ago, she had been rescued from a building site where she was mistreated by the men there.
For 2 weeks, she sat in my front garden shivering, so afraid to make eye contact or engage with us.
Now after time and space, she is a happy little puppy. She is playful and desperate for pats and cuddles.
She is still a scared little puppy though, so will need lots of love and gentle attention to change her opinion of all humans. She is very loving towards me, a female, but still traumatised by men, so needs a lot of reassurance that not all humans are evil.
We have a house of dogs and cats, so she has adapted very well. An ideal furever home would be just herself or another doggy buddy to hang out with. She is worth the extra effort believe me.
Just so u know I think only the photo of Zara when she first moved in with you can be seen.
