Shamu was an abandoned cat who sought refuge at our community's guard house. She reminds us fondly of You Tube star Cat Pusic. One day we noticed wounds on her neck which worsen over time. So we rescued her and brought her to the vet. Now, her skin condition has improved and she is ready for a loving family who can provide her an indoor living space, cage free.

Shamu is roughly 6 years old according to our vet, years of living on the street in neglect could make her seem to be this age but from our observation, she is lively, inquisitive, playful and has a voracious appetite, we suspect she may be actually 4 years of age. She loves to rub herself on our bodies, flop at our feet and grovel all over the floor like jello. Loves to be stroked and constantly rubs herself all over you. She also has this tendency to stick the tip of her tongue out, which is incredibly amusing.

Great companion for household with no other cats or with 1 big tom cat as she can be quite possessive of her favourite human. She just adores being with humans and is a great mood booster when you are feeling down because she pays a lot of attention to you.

Best thing? Her fur does not shed much when stroked so she does not leave much fur all over your home.
