Chai and her sister Masala were rescued off the streets when they were about 6 weeks old. They were initially quite scared but obvious that they were taking care of each other, especially as Chai was suffering from a major eye infection in both eyes. Chai has cloudy vision in one eye but not completely blind. She adapted very quickly to her condition and has no issues with walking, jumping, playing, etc.
They have both since recovered and really come out of their shells. They love snuggling together on soft cushions, love head scratches, and Masala especially loves her butt scratches.
Chai is a bit shyer than Masala, who will first scope out the scene to make sure it's okay for her sister (who has cloudy vision one eye but healthy otherwise). But when they do play, it's Chai who has the extra oomph! They love to run around and chase each other, and they love playing with toys.
Chai is an adorable white and grey tabby girl with a floofy tail. She has quite the purr motor on her and will warm up to you if you give her some wet food and gentle snuggles.
Masala and Chai would do best together in a quiet home with older children or just adults. They are totally fine with other cats though and love playing with them. Please inquire if you can give them a forever home. They will both be vaccinated before they are adopted. We will consider single adoptions in a home with other cats but ideally, they can be homed together as they would be quite lost without each other.
We have a short application process, require them to be full-time indoor cats, and spaying is an absolute must. If you would like to learn more about our work, please check us out on IG: @ allergic rescuers kl or on FB: Allergic Rescuers KL. Thank you!
