Curtis is re-looking for a shelter who can provide love and care to him.
He is a playful dog and very caring one.
He is happy when he is being taken for a walk.
As I am the owner and is unable to provide him such care.. i am seriously passing Curtis to a dog lover who can provide the same.
Curtis has got some skin irritational problem and diet and care for him is absolutely necessary.

He was adopted 2 weeks ago but unfortunately Curtis has to be returned to us due to some challenges that the new owner is facing with his other 2 rott which i can really understand.

cos we really don;t have time for curtis. i am really sad to leave him but it would be best for someone who can provide better love for him. My two kids who wanted so badly a golden retrieval was good only in the beginning and they are also neglecting Curtis. Very sad though

that's correct. According to the vet, this is allergy and has to control his diet (right food) and also the shampoo that was used. Curtis is now under strict monitoring.

Douglas, thank you for your interest. Curtis is still with me. I am very careful of choosing who Curtis should be at the end. Currently i would like to keep him for at least one more month to treat his skin problem as he is under strick diet formula now. If you want to see the dog, u can call me.

I have a golden as well. She is 8 months old now.She used to have skin irritation and skin problem eversince she was 3 months old.I brought her to see vet.Tried a lot of shampoos and keep changing dog food for her. Finally, she is free of skin problem and have very beautiful coat. I feed her 3 fishes -Acana dog food, free of beef, free of gluten.I use dog shampoo specially for sensetive skin (made of oatmeal oil and organic).I ve been waited for at least 1 1/2 months to see the result. If you really want to help her,try Acana 3 fishes formula first.Bath him once a week. With very gentle shampoo.Make sure his coat is dry as golden likes water very much.I believe you will see the positive result.

Hi Sharon, thanks for sharing. You are right? I have changed shampoo and food as per vet's recommendation and will monitor the condition. Well after 2 weeks i saw great improvement in his skin already. Well let's hope he will get back his nice silky coating. Muffin has got very nice coat. I am so so jealous. Hope Curtis will have the same in due course.
