Rafa is a LITTER TRAINED, male kitten who had shared his 2-3 months days and nights with siblings. It is highly advisable to have another kitten/cat with Rafa at home so he does not go depressed when he is alone.
He is playful and loves the attention and cuddles we can give him.
Though was left without a mum, Rafa was able to successfully litter trained himself.
Previously he used clay litter but we changed to Pine litter and Rafa is not fussy as he uses both successfully as long as the area around the box is clean and there is not too much poo in the box for him to use.
CHARACTERISTIC!!
Rafa is a domestic short-hair feline with an orange/ginger coat. If you notice, Rafa “wears” “white eyeliner” around his eyes. Some people say Rafa have a “Im sad, cuddle me!” face, while others mentioned that he has a mischieve face. Up until today, Rafa does not have any deformation and would love to remain that way with the love from his new owner.
PERSONALITIES!!
Leader: Among his siblings, he plans where they will explore next.
Active: Though kittens normally sleeps 16-20 hours a day, if someone is awake, Rafa is there to keep you company
Craves attention: Rafa meows if he is alone, probably looking for the love & attention.
Cheeky & Cuddle: He love love love to be pet on the bridge of the nose
High appetite: Rafa eats his kibbles well (not fussy). Occasionally enjoys wetfood (once a week) and had no problem getting his nutrition from brand such as Equilibrio, Natures Protection and Royal Canin.
What to expect from the new owner?
On the first week, Rafa needs reassurance and cuddles from the new owner because he had spent all his life with siblings to play with, therefore, the absence of siblings to keep him company may cause him to be depressed during the transition period.
Rafa had been dewormed, but not neutered or vaccinated. Please vaccinate Rafa as there are many diseases that can infect cats. Neutering reportedly about 80 - 90% effective in reducing aggression and preventing fights among male cats. Neutered cats lose their strong territorial instincts, which reduces their peeing (marking) behaviour and makes them more loving, reliable pets.
From a young age, Rafa had stayed indoors. Take precaution if you keep Rafa in an apartment or condo, as he does not know that he can fall down if he were to play near the windows or balcony or when he gets distracted with birds flying outside. Please keep Rafa as indoor cat, he never set foot outside and would not be smart enough to survive on his own if he roams far away.
Do give Rafa good quality cat food and provide fresh water everyday.
