The mother, Cabby, gave birth to a litter of kittens before she was ready to be spayed. She's very young, slim cat hence she's unable to lactate a lot or care for her kittens properly.
They're healthy, however! We feed the kittens good food with milk in it to add on to the mothers milk. The only thing is that they seem to have a bit of an eye infection which we try to clean and control, since the mother doesn't groom her children much.
According to someone who has adopted one of them and has given the kitten medicated eye drops, the infection disappeared within 1-2 days.
They're people friendly, rather big for their age (their grandmother/grandfathers are big boned and long respectively) so you can expect them to grow big and long with medium, silky black coats.
