Blacki Girl is a sweetheart of a cat. She was rescued with 4 kittens.
She is an ultra responsible mother who hid her kittens in a room, although she had to jump over a 7 foot door to get in or out. Blacki used to be abused by a worker in the building where she had her kittens. She went to extraordinary lengths to keep her kittens safe from this man. She had to attempt the jump over the door several times to get in and out.
A kind lady observed her jumping desperately every day over the door. The lady convinced the owner of the building to give her a spare key to the room where the kittens were being kept by Blacki (it was a junk room). When the lady realised Blacki
was being abused, she took her and the 4 kittens to a vet clinic and convinced the vet to let her lodge them there. Two kittens died. Blacki and her surviving two kittens have lived in cages at the vet clinic since over a year.
The lady who rescued them is not in a position to give them a home.
Blacki has developed pain in her back, probably from jumping over the door for her kittens. If a specific spot on her back is touched, she yelps in pain. The vet says it could be arthritis although she is so young.
The vet says she is a gentle cat who gets along with all other cats.
She is a beautiful girl, with a soft and glossy coat.
When taken out of her cage, Backi goes berserk with joy. She plays like a little kitten although she is a full grown cat and it looks most adorable. She chases her own tail, dashes joyfully around and flops over. She is a quiet cat with barely a miaw. She is most manja. Loves snuggles.
Please give this adorable cat who has had a hard life a good home.
Looking for a caring, responsible and experienced cat lover who will give her permanence of home, love, regular vet visits. Also, someone who doesn’t believe in caging cats and can keep her indoors only. She has completely lost her ability to survive outdoors and is terrified of the outdoors now.
Her vaccinations are all up to date. She is in great health, except for her back pain. I have paid to get her a course of pain killers and joint health supplements at the clinic.
