Zippy was found in a ditch on a rainy morning in mid-May. I heard him crying when I was feeding the neighborhood strays. He had flu, a bad eye infection, and was underweight. He was at risk of getting pneumonia, the vet said.
He took the antibiotics and recovered fast. He's been dewormed, de-flea/lice, and already had his first vaccination. He will be neutered once he's old enough.
Zippy is a small kitten with a lion's heart. He's adventurous, fearless and a bit relentless. He play-fight with my mid-size dog, and is not afraid to attack the dog. He's wary but not afraid of the loud sound the vacuum cleaner makes, and attempts to attack it too.
His current favorite toy is the kitten wand. He chases it around the room, and does backflips and somersaults. He's learning to catch it in the air. He loves to zip around the room (hence his name), and climbs up my pants pretending he's climbing a tree.
