Nyonya and Raccoon are almost identical, the only difference at this point in time in the length of their tails and the markings on their foreheads. They are both active and enjoy exploring their surroundings and doing acrobatic activities!
Thought I would give a bit of background to Calpernia and her babies. Calpernia was a stray cat at the condo I live at in Kelana Jaya. I could see that she was pregnant and very hungry. I rescued a kitten several months ago at my condo. And just a couple of weeks ago the Sundry store owner threatened to take away couple of kittens (approx 2 months old) that were stray. I asked him to wait but before I could get some help to rescue the kittens they had disappeared. The kitten I rescued a while ago and the two kittens that disappeared may have had the same mother. The mother (a lovely little black cat blind in one eye and probably pregnant again) may also be Calpernia's mother. I don't know Calpernia's age nor how many litters she's had.
When I rescued Calpernia she had a ring of about an inch of missing hair around the base of her tail as well as hungry, and undernourished (especially since she was pregnant). She also had patches of hair missing around her back legs. She now has all her hair and while still lean, looks much better.
However Calpernia needs treatment for cat flu. And I really want to get the kittens their first round of vaccinations as well. Unfortunately I don't have a car. Is there anyone who would be able to give me a lift to Hands N Paws? I don't live too far away from the clinic. I could get a taxi but it gets quite expensive.
If anyone is available to give us a lift I'm sure Calpernia and her kitties would be very grateful (me too!).
Heard your plight about transportation. I would not mind to drive you and Calpernia to Hands N Paws but it would have to be during weekends as I will be working during weekdays. If you still need help do give me a tinkle on 3258. WOuld be most happy to give you a lift!
Hiya, the male orange kitten has been adopted but the two girls are still available. I've heard that brown and grey tabbies aren't popular in Malaysia because they're "common". Instead, people would rather pay RM500 for a "half" persian kitten. Come on folks, don't be so shallow. These are two kittens that would be yet more strays if I hadn't rescued their mum. These girls are lovely, give them a home. :D
