Poco, the super duper friendly 3-6 year-old male mixed breed, was found abandoned with his sister near our place last September.
Sadly, we found out that he had heartworm soon after we rescued him and started giving him treatment right away, which went well without any adverse reactions and completed last month.
(As we're living in a small apartment with three dogs, we have been boarding him at KL Pooch after having initially fostered him for a brief period.)
He's always been fairly active (not too hyperactive), very playful, extremely affectionate and friendly with people and amazingly great with kids. He is a bit talkative and reactive to some male dogs (especially unneutered ones) but I believe all these will most likely diminish once he settles in a new home with loving people who are willing to give him love, attention and care he deserves FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE.
He weighs about 13kg and is toilet-trained, fully vaccinated, dewormed, neutered and tested negative for tick fever.
New owner MUST get him tested for heartworm again in this July to make sure he's heartworm-free (and continue with heartworm prevention) and if possible, should preferably keep him indoors as he seems to have a low tolerance for heat and we suspect that he had contracted heartworm while living outdoors (He's kind of a dog you want to have by your side all the time anyway!)
Please contact me if you are SINCERELY willing and ready to give him a forever loving home.
