alongwan73   Nov 10th 2009 at 4:02PM dearest friends, I am very please with the responses from many calls and helps offered from u all.. kah yin and her friends , ms. sue ( the good person who offered to get treatment for patch), and a few more.. I'm in tears seeing the kindness showed by all of you and I really thank you all for the support and comments .. right now patch is being kept in a large store by my apartments management until Ms Sue arrives to collect patch. I gave him the food (that was donated by Ms Melissa from PETS GARDEN) and he looks very happy to see me ! wagging his tail and try to hold his hand (err paw) to show gratitude ! He is so sweet... earlier today while sending my daughter to school, aini (my daughter) shed tears... she told me that she's going to miss patch ... (sigh) ...

It's sad to see an animal as sweet as patch been hurt like this ... I am touch by all your gestures and praises.. thank you very much.. The praises should all go to YOU all ! not me... I applause for the concerns, actions,intentions shown by ALL for poor Patch .. For this I salute you all ... I am proud and honor to know you all ... :) update on Patch... he is sleeping after having the food that I gave him... managed to eats some treats that I usually gave him .. He look so contempt and rested.. I can still see the socket where it use to have the eye in .. poor thing.. so sweet and yet was mistreated ... deep in my heart I pray to GOD asking him to find a kind heart to shelter Patch ... Please GOD , give patch a new life .. a better life ... a sweeter life ...

alongwan73   Nov 10th 2009 at 11:01PM dear friends, Ms Sue ching had just came with her friend and took patch for tomorrow's ordeal with the vet.. I was touched by their kind hearts in helping patch to begin a new life.. before leaving, patch did something which will remain in my heart till the day I die, He put his front paws up at my tight and look at me as if saying thank you for helping him ... This is truly something I never imagined.. a dog , a stray dog gesturing his gratitude to me ... ( samak or cleansing was easy .. it was raining and rain water on the earth was more than i needed to perform the samak or cleansing according to Islam....) I am gonna miss u patch... I thank you all for the praises, prayers and help for me and patch ... alongwan73   Nov 11th 2009 at 9:00AM Good morning all... It's already morning? ugh... worried about patch , I didn't sleep well.. So just now I made a call to Sue Ching (it's almost 8.45 a.m). I was a bit ashamed of myself because disturbing her so early since she slept late last night attending to Patch ... well, she just woke up (because I called her..lol) and she informed me that Patch is doing well adjusting himself at her place and she's taking half day off from work to take Patch to the vet .. well. I hope everything will be fine.. Thans Sue Ching ! I'll be waiting to hear from her later on .. regards, Wan Zabani Azizan

mandychee   Nov 11th 2009 at 1:48PM Wan, It is indeed an honour to have someone like you helping all this helpless creatures.I believe God will not shun on you for helping all the distress animal be it haram or not.I widely believe that some ppl have miscontrued the notion 'haram' and therefore resorted to even hitting them and refused to touch them but having an angel like you is a God sent message that all the brothers and sisters of Islam can indeed help an animal in distress be it a dog or any other creature. BRAVO!!

I am touched by your understandings.. :) unfortunately not many people does ... anyway I am happy to help Patch since he is very nice and good dog that deserves a better life.. :) Btw, got 2 kittens coming in tomorrow for me to foster.. can't wait for their arrival..

Hi all, It's around 4.15 pm just now I received a call from Sue Ching Informing the outcome of the medical check up for Patch.. To much relief, Patch is in a very good health condition. The examination reveals indeed the right eye is missing but the wounds are free from any infections. Due to still lacking of enough tissues in the area, the vets will let them grow a bit more with the help of ointments and eye drops for another 2 weeks before performing a surgery to close up the opened area.. (patch up ? got it Patch will be patch up,,lol) the vet had to sedate Patch for the examination and told Sue Ching that Patch will be up again around 4 pm but little Patch showed them that he is strong at will and body, at 1 pm he woke up jumping and running around happily without showing any sign of being sedated at all ! amazing! Well Sue will be sending me some pics of Patch later on and I will post it up here.. Until then, thank you to all of u... thank you to Kah Yien and her family, thank you to GOD for giving Patch the much needed second chance in life...
