SarahMelanie   Nov 20th 2009 at 8:05AM Yes Fareen i have been thorugh a bad experience during this adoption period..and i realize there r so many people want to adopt my baby..but dont know how to care for them. Keeping them and loving them like your own family is a big responsibility..

Fareen   Nov 20th 2009 at 8:42AM betul tu Sarah. Most of them are just impulsive looking at cute kitties. They dun realize it's actually a long term responsibility since they can live up to 15-20 years..when they're cute oklah but sometimes they throw tantrums, noisy, spray etc, terus adopted x tahan. lagisatu, it would also be a good idea to neuter the cats before rehoming them. if they're still kittens, insist tht they be nutered when time comes. I think it's safer for ur babies...

SarahMelanie   Nov 20th 2009 at 3:55PM Hi Fareen..i dunt know where to nutered the cat to be honest. coz when i ask the vet that i use to go last 3 weeks how much is it to neuter my lilo..it is RM200.Damn expensive.Do u know where else i could neuter them?

Fareen   Nov 20th 2009 at 4:47PM private clinics are more expensive, yes. I go to clinic heshmael in Kota Dsara. for male is 140 and female 180. it includes the procedure and 1 night boarding for the cat to recover. if u go to govt clinics like klinik kembiri in setapak is less than 100. for female is more exp cos it's considered a surgery. why dun u join the forum? u can talk to a lit of ppl abt cats and get soo much info. there's also a list if all the vets in one if the forum topics:)

I mean female procedure is always more exp but if u go to klinik kembiri, either male or female is less than 100. the only downside is, there is a long queue, kdg2 kena tunggu sampai petang. u take back ur cat in the same day. masa balik tu they will still be groggy and still sakit sikit so u gave to jaga. kalau kat heshmael tu, by the time u ambik, diorang dah 70% ok cuma female takes abt a week to fully get back to her normal self.

Really want to join a forum but now really busy to catch up with work and children back home..maybe once all the baby is adopted..i could have more time on this forum things.

Fareen   Nov 21st 2009 at 2:19PM it is good to go to a vet that you're familiar with. Which vet do you normally go to? Ive been going to the vet every month and this month je dah 3x. I'm a bit paranoid heheh. Sikit2 pergi. Doctor pun gelak kat I. Eh, actually we live close by. You're in Damansara Damai. I'm in Sunway Dsara near Ikea hehe.

SarahMelanie   Nov 21st 2009 at 2:36PM i used to go to vet at sri damansara (which is the nearest) and i went to the vet only when they got skin infections or eyes infection, high fever or i rescue some kittens..not always..hihi..is got to be paranoid la Fareen.coz they cant tell you and complaint about their sickness..we stay qt close..maybe we can sit n have a small chat together some day.but i used to go to IKEA. to buy that special roll to remove animal furr.. :)

Fareen   Nov 21st 2009 at 2:48PM yea yea! me too. I buy the lint remover (roller from there) cos its the cheapest and works well. Kat petshop also ada jual but the expensive brand. I have to buy somemore cos habis already. My husband just laughs at me cos I'm so paranoid, he said, in 2 years if we accumulate the vet fees, can buy a Kelisa. In one year can buy motosikal hehehehe. Maybe one day I visit your home to see your babies. You have soo many. I only have 2 :)

SarahMelanie   Nov 21st 2009 at 3:13PM He he...really Fareen..even my mom also said the same things u know..i spend around rm 500 to rm 600 hundred to buy the food permonths..then mom said..better u give me that money so i can buy..bla bla bla...or sell ur cat bla bla..then i said to my mom 'mom that baby is like my children, i dont sell my children. do u?' i ask my mom again and she just laugh :). If accumulate the pets expenses for 10 years, we can buy mercedes la Fareen..wakakaka.Yes u can come by to meet my baby..just giv me a call first.

Fareen   Nov 21st 2009 at 3:32PM wah, your expenses just on food is very high. Tak masuk if pergi vet lagi kan. My husband said, kucing kita cantik, mummy kucing very serabai hahahhaaha. yea, one day I'll call you. I really admire orang yang byk babies. LIfe seem so exciting hehehe.
