I have adopted Leia at Tropicana City mall on 23 May 2010. My existing male dog is still barking at Leia and is almost going to be a week. Any thing I can do to help the two dogs to get along faster?
Otherwise, I might have to give Leia to someone else to adopt. I want to give it a try before deciding what is the next step.
Guess sometimes things can changed when you expected the least. Miracle can happened for my dog too.
Leia has been with me for about a week and my existing dog have not been accepting Leia. My dog barked at her whenever he sees Leia.
All it takes was a rainy Wesak day when I was out. It must be the lighting and thunder that makes my dog jump over the fencing which I have put up to separate the two. All went well for the two dogs after that rainy Wesak day. It was the most memorable day for me too, as I finally can keep Leia. Happy Belated Wesak Day.
So heartwarming :) Thanks for giving Leia time to adjust before deciding to take action to return her. Your success story can be an inspiration to others who are finding it difficult to help their pet adjust with existing household pets.
