Note: Please send us a message to answer the questions asked below. Please note that we do not respond to PM requests. Your answers will help us screen through prospective adopters. Thank you for choosing to adopt. Please do not send us a message just to ask if he is still available for adoption. If he is no longer up for adoption, we would have changed his status. He is still available for adoption at the moment as we are still screening through prospective adopters.
Chesney:" Hi, I am a 3.5 years' old toy Poodle. I was severely neglected by my former owner. I did not know that was not how I was supposed to live. I was kept in a small rusted cage, ate low quality kibble in a rusted bowl and drank my own urine to survive. I slept on my own feces and my fur was so matted that I could hardly move. I lived like this for 3 years before I was dumped to a neighbor across the road."
"At my new foster home, I was sent to the vet for check up. I was diagnosed with Heartworm Stage 3 and my tartar and plague were so bad that my breath stinks! I was treated and I fought hard to survive. The nasty heartworm almost took my life. Now, I am healthy, no heartworm, and rotten teeth have been removed. I am left with roughly 10 teeth and I can still eat kibble (soaked in water for 10 minutes before feeding me)."
"I am calm, gentle, quiet, affectionate, shy, lazy but not toilet trained yet. I am looking for my forever home. I now know that dogs were not supposed to live like how I suffered in the past. If you are interested to adopt me, kindly contact my fosterer by sending her a message to describe the following..."
1. Your experience handling dogs (if any)
2. Is your family supportive of the adoption?
3. How much time can you spend with me daily?
4. Are you agreeable to home visit before adoption and sending regular updates to the fosterer after adoption?
Adoption fee to cover for neutering. The remaining sum of RM 3250 spent on medical treatment is sponsored by the fosterer. Medical receipts and medical records will be given to the adopter. Thank you for choosing to adopt!
