This poor kitten, Oren, was found at the roadside on 17th June 2016 in Pekan Tamparuli. She appeared lethargic, unable to close her mouth and had a rotten smell.

She was brought immediately to Klinik Haiwan & Surgeri Tuaran. She was found to have a broken jaw, partially cut tongue, multiple perforating wounds at the roof of her mouth and base of tongue with maggot infestation. She was feverish at the same time.

The vet, Dr Dyanie did dressing for her and had her jaw fixed with wire under anaesthesia.

However due to the extensive wounds in her mouth and weak body, she was unable to eat on her own. She had to be put on IV drip and required daily dressing and force feeding.

Because of her condition, I've decided to adopt her when discharged from vet.

I hope her medical bill can be partially subsidised through petfinder.my as the fees are very high (RM707 for 7 days admission).

Sorry for the late update as it has been very difficult to click into this page.
Unfortunately, Oren did not make it.
On 26/06/16, Oren has gone to a better place where he will no longer suffer.
We are very grateful to those who had lent a helping hand.
