Tom was rescued near my condo. He was devastatingly malnourished and had severe skin condition. Nevertheless, after a few trips to the vet, he began to perk up and showed more personality.

Now, he's growing into a handsome tabby and doesn't he remind you of Toothless from 'How to Train Your Dragon'? He likes to cuddle and purr whenever you're around him. Black cats are simply the best!
