Doodles was rescued by a kind lady who found her on a busy street, scared and hungry. Apparently she was abandoned by her previous owner a few days ago.
The lady has her hands full with other rescues so we offered to foster Doodles. She came to us terrified and with a real bad case of ear mites ( and a little bit of mange).
But after some TLC, she has made tremendous improvements, ear mites are gone, mange is gone, fur getting much softer and has learnt to be much more comfortable and confident with other dogs and strangers. Doodles have learnt to sit, wait, down and loves loves shaking hand(her favourite command probably)
Doodles is a 4 months old female Shar Pei mix, which means she has really short fur, when you run your hand against her fur, like all Shar Peis, parts of her fur feels slightly pokey. She also has Shar Pei's excess skin on her head causing her to have a quizzical frown on her head most of the time.
Her tail has been through some accident and is a permanent zig zag squiggle which is kind of the inspiration for her name.
Doodles loves loves loves human contact and some of her favourite things are digging into comfortable positions around our legs when we sit on the floor. In fact, she also loves being carried or cuddled, especially like a baby and will comfortably go limp and never struggle. She is very loving in that way and her loving manja ways has helped a friend of mine get through her heartbreak.
We think she is ready to go to a real home so we would like to find her a good one where she could live a happy life, loved by her family, preferably one already with dogs. she plays quite well with other dogs.
Dewormed, deticked, and have had her 2nd vaccination. The fees are for her vaccination which are refundable when you spay doodles.
Please give her a good home soon as I am not able to devote enough resources and time for her. Please call the rescuer at
Doodles is currently with her rescuer but she is still waiting for her forever home.
Thanks!
