venny1010   Dec 29th 2009 at 8:59PM to rozitahalim , Hi! Actually all hamsters bite, it doesnt matter whether its from a petshop . Hamsters are basically blind , they depend on their nose , so you have to be with it as much as possible since baby so that it can recognize your smell. Sometimes you can just put your finger into the cage, let them sniff ( sometimes lick too . )or put food in your palm and let them eat it from there and when time goes by , they would know that you mean no harm . :)
