Did you just got your min pin a few days ago? Did you mean to ask me why my min pin looks active but yours is more reserved?

If you just got your min pin a few days ago, you need to give him sometime to get used to his new environment. Until he gets used to his environment, he will be very polite. Give him a few weeks and he will start to get really playful.

And min pins will bark at strangers. Again, be patient, and give him time to accept his new house. His guardian instincts will kick in naturally.

As for barking for food... all dogs do that. You can train the dog to sit patiently while you prepare the food. And to sit and wait for the ok command before they can eat.

Be patient when training Hao Yin. With patience, you will succeed. The first trick is more difficult. But once you know your dog's behavior, it will become easier.
