Hello again all. Just writing to tell you that i have finally found my FOREVER HOME !!!
I can't believe what a lucky boy I am. I now live with a lovely girl called Nicole and her mum and dad. I am forever thankful to them for letting me be a part of their lives.

Hi Jacq -- you might want to consider getting Rusty a Thundershirt (or asking his adopter to get one for him). They're marvellous for calming dogs during storms or other stressful situations, such as car rides, fireworks, etc. Good luck finding a great and permanent home for the little guy!
Thanks all for the feedback on Rusty. I am out of KL till Friday. Rusty is now staying with a family on a trial basis ... To see if they can gauge whether he can assimilate into the household with their existing 1 year old shih tzu.
I am hoping for the best for him. I know I have taken on big responsibility to rehome him. But it is a responsibility I take seriously. He is such a sweet boy. His age may be the biggest disadvantage .....
A big thank you to Carol and her family for adopting Rusty. I have received many enquiries on him since he was put up for adoption on petfinders. My apologies for not replying directly to all your messages.
We visited Rusty yesterday after he spent a week with Carol. We could sense how well Rusty has been accepted into her family and she regularly keeps us updated on his antics !
After much worrying about his fate since he was dropped onto our laps, we can now sleep easy knowing that he is safe, sound, happy and well loved.
To those of you who are still looking to adopt a pet, hope you will find your soul mate soon.
