We are looking for reliable adopters for our puppies..Will not pass any of them to those who just fall in love with their cuteness but believing that dog with white chest will attack the owner or white leg will caused bad luck & etc...I dunno where this ridiculous believe came from..Our puppies have this marking because their mother is cross breed of sheep dog with mongrel..most of their sibling are with this kind of marking

Hi, i am Chloe and i am eleven years old, i am looking for a puppy, but i cant have a purbred, because they are a bit too hard to take care of than mongrels, can i know whether they are easy to take care of? are they quiet? are they easy too groom? and is the black puppy still available?? please get back to me.

thanks

Hi Chloe, they are cross breed puppies. Of course they are easier to take care of compare to pure breed..but we are unable to judge their temperament & size at maturity..you may contact my sister Jane if you are interested to adopt, also please get agreement from all family members because we do not want them to get kicked out into the streets due to any family member dislike them or when they loss their cuteness..

Sorry Chloe..the said puppy has just been reserved..thanks for your interest anyway..

stephaniemeng   Sep 16th 2009 at 9:29AM
Its not that i take a long time to decide. Infact i've already reserved this male pup for the last three weeks even before this ad come in but i was also open for another female pup thats why i asked around even letting them know that i've already reserved a pup from this profile yet....anyway some people seems...words simply doesnt't match them...

Dear Stephanie , you called my sister Jane on Friday morning,28/08/2009 to check if there is any puppy available for adoption before I post this ad, and later reserved Puppy C at night but feel uncomfortable with his white chest and leg. I sms to you to explain that this is due to the similar in their sheep dog genes as his elders. BUT you keep calling my sister (from 29/08 – 7/09) everyday/few times a day saying that your husband strongly believe that white chest dog will attack the owner and white leg dog will bring bad luck and at the same time keep asking Jane to take more pic of the said puppy and mms to you until she suggested that you adopt other puppy from other pet finder member if you really feel uncomfortable with our puppy marking.

Therefore, you called one of the pet finder member and claiming that you’re a friend of us and we suggested you to adopt her female puppy. But somehow you failed to adopt puppy from her may be because you are unable to gain her trust even she sent her puppy up to your door. Also, you called another pet finder member almost the same time and claiming that you’re my friend and wanna adopt her puppy but annoying ppl with pic and puppy marking issue again. I guess you failed to adopt puppy from her once again.

You keep telling Jane that a lot of pet finder members failed you or they never keep their promise but looks like the problem is from you/your husband that is quite moody, traditional or narrow-minded on dog marking that scared most of the rescuers / fosterers (including us) away. Also, you had two dogs before but do not put in effort to correct existing problems, then claiming that they went missing.

After due consideration & discussion with my sis last week, we decided not to pass our puppy to you. I removed the word reserved on the same day I posted my comments on this issue because we as a rescuer cum fosterer do not want to waste the effort of rescuing them but they end up in the same situation as before.

You as the adopter has to show that you and your family members are comfortable with dogs because there is a life in your hand, not a toy for your sons that can be kicked into street once they loss their cuteness or misbehave.

I do not know why you use the word unethical, but 1st of all, we are not a pet merchant & didn’t take any deposit from you upon puppy reservation and second, We are not selling our puppy and will not accept your offer of RM100 to bring the puppy back to you.

Stephanie Thank you for your interest in our puppy but you have failed in adopting any of our puppies because adoption is a two way street, its up to the adopter who they want to adopt from, and the rescuer who they want to give to.
We as a rescuer cum fosterer have the responsibility of rehoming our animals, as best we can.

Good luck to you in adopting a dog then.

I agreed with you Jennifer..we never charge adopter a single cent even sent puppies all the way from KL to Pg..but some people just has this kind of ridiculous believe..my sister purposely drove back to old house on several previous ocasions during 29/8 - 7/9 just to take the said puppy pic on stomach and chest and mms to her but still come back to the same issue..that's why we finally withdrawn her reservation on this puppy on Sept 8th..

Jesse, thank you for continuing to search for a good home for the puppy! It's unfortunate that people are making decisions based upon such silly superstitions and are driving you mad in the process.

On the other hand, my cat has a white chest, and she attacks me from time to time. Hmmmmmm... (No, just kidding :-)

Every rescuer and fosterer here is trying his / her best to find good home for poor animals..but don't understand why some adopter are setting such a special spec for this poor animals..they get a free watch dog and yet very choosy..sigh..

For human, they said if men have chest hair, they are fierce, bad temper and can be unreasonable.. so, are most of the men, married happily with wife n kids?
White Chest...
As Jenn mentioned, Shih Tzu,got white chest.. my pup is one of them... Maltese, left right center all white...
If talks about mongrel, my neighbour have "cow spot" doggie, top body with black spot n other part is white, very obedient and good as guard dog.
Eventually... no matter what breeds, what colours...even with rainbows striping colour (if got one...) the matters will be to the owners on how they wanna train that dog, what's the point you got yourself a pure colour dog, expensive dog yet you can't even train him/her to respect you?

So in the end of the day, due to you can't handle them, then you said cos it's white chest, very hard to train? Go get a German Shepard and see how it goes then...

White chest.. pehhh...

(p/s: not against anyone here, just my thoughts.. sometimes, when you realized you click with that dog, it's meant to be with you, regardless what marking him/she having.)
