[For Adoption]
"Hello! I was born after my mom had an affair with my dad of different breed. Either one of them is a Poodle, and the other one could be a Westie. But, don't you dare judge me hor? I am still adorable, RIGHT?
On April 25, I was running on a busy crossroad in SS1. So many big cars, so many scary motorcycles. I ran around aimlessly and knocked into cars which are slowing down. Suddenly, this lady appeared out of nowhere with a leash and homemade jerky. I ran away from her! She looked crazy loh... Calling me Ah Boy, come here! Ah Boy! Aiya, ho sim lah, this kind of name....
Finally, while we played tag on a busy crossroad, I finally had enough of it and hid beneath a car. Two passer-by helped and I was then carried into her car, rushed to a vet to de-tick, poked by needle to do blood test, poked again for vaccination.
After that, for over a month, I played with different dogs, licked different humans, and humped a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a French Bulldog - both boys, I'm a boy - Don't judge me hor, there's nothing wrong.
Yet, after posting here & there and heading to the same cross road a couple of times.... Nobody claims to be my owner. So, my fosterer sent me to the vet and she forgot to take my balls back. I'm now ball-less.
Anyway, I'm looking for my new daddy/ mommy or both. If you're ready to adopt me. Here's what I need:
1. Are you sure you can groom me or send me to reputable grooming places? I like to look dashing.
2. Are you knowledgeable in what food to feed me? If so, please impress my fosterer.
3. Are you willing to commit to take good care of me for the next 10 years or so, through thick & thin, till death do us part? Don't tell me you are planning to migrate without me, or you/your wife give birth and you dump me, or whatever excuse you can think of.
4. Will I have other fur friends at your place? Are they friendly?
5. What kind of environment are you providing me? I'm an indoor dog. If you intend to cage/ leash me all day long... Don't adopt me. I deserve better.
6. How much time can you spend with me daily? Are you patient? I sometimes mark in the presence of other dogs but that's before I left my balls at the vet, now I'm improving. You okay to clean up after me?
7. I am quite an escape artist. Is your place secured?
8. I love to lick humans. You've any problem with that?
9. Are you financially capable to take care of me? Not to sound materialistic la, but I need food, grooming, heartworm prevention, tick prevention, supplement, treats... It adds up one you know. If you're a student, please ask your parents to contact us instead.
Oh, my fosterer may have more questions. She very ma fan one. You talk to her lah. I don't want to sound very self-centered lah.. What I can offer in return? Priceless endless love! Priceless okay! Priceless! Sekian, terima kasih.
By the way, I'm 3 years' old. My fosterer says please send her messages with all the answers I asked for if you're interested to make me a part of your family."
Regards,
Scruffy the Poodle Mix
