Asantee, a 2yld German Shepherd 2011. She was a 'cruelty case': the owner had abandoned her to starve along with her 9 puppies. She was skin and bone and was unable to produce milk.
During their journey to SPCA shelter, 3 puppies died. When I first saw her, she had a beautiful gentle look and was very kind. She let me touched her puppies. Unfortunately the shelter had to put down all the puppies as they had caught PARVO-VIRUS from the mother's milk. It was sad as I wanted to adopt her and the puppies. She became depressed and no longer ate and drank and stayed in a corner all day.
That very day. I adopted her out and gave her lots of love and affection. It took her 2 years to come into her own and she is now a very happy dog! She is neutered
