The Boerboel is a large dog, with a strong bone structure n well developed muscles. The head appears blocky, but not overdone. It should look impressive, carrying himself with confidence n powerful movement. Can growth to 50kg - 100kg.

Its coat is short, dense, smooth, soft, n shiny. The Breed Standard colors for the Boerboel is Fawn, Light Fawn, Red all colors of red n Brindle. Many dogs have a black mask around their mouth.

Boerboels r an intelligent n energetic breed. They r loyal, great with kids n tend to be protective of their family n territory.

They r quite charming when not being lazy, and will not hesitate to defend their loved ones to the death.
