1 October 2014 sad update: Din suddenly passed away from a mysterious illness that he picked up before I rescued him. I've sent him to the vet clinic for postmortem autopsy and subsequent cremation. The vet informed that he died from FIP.

A Taman Tun Dr Ismal (TTDI) resident reported on 21 September 2014 that Din (his temporary foster name) was persistently trying to get into her home which already had an indoor territorial cat. Din was new to the neighbourhood so no one knew who the owner was but however, since he's trying to get into any home and he's obviously an indoor cat himself, it may be likely that he was dumped. Another resident reported that a cat hater threw him into a compound which had a dog who could have mauled him to death if not for his overly-friendly and trusting nature. So, I decided to evacuate him on 23 September 2014, neutered him on 25 September 2014 and will foster him until he recovered from the surgery before putting him up for adoption. In the meantime, I'm posting to see if the owner will claim him in case he's really a lost cat.
