[ RICE THE SCABIES CAT ]
I travelled to Unisel Bestari Jaya with for 4 days work. Its university located in urban area which took us 2 hours to travel from KL.
I saw a sleeping cat outdoor, behind air-con control box.
When I walked closer to him,he woke up and looked towards me with squinty eyes. It wasn't an expression of sleepy mood, his swollen face cause hardness to open his eyes properly. he was a sick cat with skin infection. His ears and face full of mange, his skin was dry and bald spot on his leg.
Then I touched him with bare hand. It was my first time of touching a cat like a sandpaper. He scratched his face and ears so hard to relief itchiness.Then seated beside me. He loves touching very much. Slowly, he begged to sleep on me and walked up to my leg, closed his eyes & sleep .
Later, a Malay uncle stopped by and said :" Kucing ni tidak cantik ~ kadang saya ada bagi makan. Ada lagi kucing lain di belakang tapi yang ni dia selalu keseorangan". I guess he was excluded by other cats because of his infection.
That evening, I saw Rice walked towards a group of students who acted like giving him food but actually make fun of him. Another foreign student fed him a small piece of bread, Rice was thankful and rubbed the student with his body. The student pushed him away & shooooo . He talked to me" this is a sick cat right?"
"Yes~ " So I grabbed him away to sit beside me. At that moment, a little anger and sadness in my heart. I decided to take him back for medical treatment.

Rice has finished his treatment with weekly visit to vet! He has done his vaccination and deworm too. He is now fully recovered .

Please give him a home!
