Jacqueline   May 5th 2009 at 9:04AM LiLi ,she must eat.Smear a samll bite size of bread. Squirt the medicine onto the bread & spread butter on it with a bit of jam or kaya & give it to her. I am sure she will eat.

Aunty Jacqueline, Sam is now starting to pull out the plants and biting some boxes..how do i stop her my dad is angry at her but im not i feel pity cause my father so rough at her now... and i ask her to stop she does not listen.. so i gave her a 'time out' in her cage 1st if she contineu What Should I Do ? help thx..

chino   May 5th 2009 at 1:08PM dear dogsrule996..try to buy her dog bone frm petshop to chew coz now your doggy big teeth want to grow ley..like human baby.when she doing wrong like pulling out plant .its the time you nid to b firm..the way you talk must b more different wif her.now is the time you nid to teach her, built relationship wif her.she will change till she more bigger.b patient coz this the moment you can train yourslf as a vet too.im sure you can make it sweetie!!!!

Sashy   May 5th 2009 at 1:20PM Sounds like its your first dog, I would suggest googling for a website on having your first dog, things to expect, housebreaking, and also signs to look out for if they are sick You COULD buy those dogcare books, but they are very expensive, and the internet is readily available.

Jacqueline   Jun 7th 2009 at 11:20PM better train her not to jump up on you. Tell her to sit without looking into her eyes. When she sits praise her and cuddle,ruffle her. She loves that & will leraned she is to sit which you love ( with all those attention, she firmly believes you do).

Actually, I have proven all you need is love & attention to it & she will turn out fine. She is lonely & needs to be stimulated. play ball fetching with her or tug of war or even chasing. I heard from your dad there is a field nearby. she is dependent on you remember that.

Find out does he has an owner. if so, ask then whether they have vaccinated him as well as dewormed him. It would be a good idea to neuter him. He may pick up sexual diseases when older.
