On 4th Aug 2013, I was on the way out for my morning appointment & I saw a cat at the residents' parking lot near the wall.I wanted to feed her so I approached her closely & noticed she looked disorientated. She was trying to scratch the wall in a slow movement- as if she was in pain. Suspecting she was run over by a car, I ran upstairs to my apartment to get a carrier.
When I went down again to get her, I saw in a distance that she lied still - no movement. Luckily, she was still breathing! With no time to spare, I put her in the carrier carefully & rushed to the vet ASAP.
Vet attended to the cat (named her Polkadot) immediately. Vet believed she had internal bleeding & her condition was very critical. She was breathing heavily at the time. Vet put her on drips & pain relief medication to stabilize her condition initially since her body temperature was below normal. Blood test was done next day & liver/enzyme & white blood count readings were very high.
She is now hospitalized since last Sunday. She has shown some slight movements on 5th Aug 2013 when I visited her. Please help Polkadot.
