when I visited the shelter with my mum to select a pet, I saw Kent- a handsome Dachshund but because of lack of attention,(understandably as the shelter needs to take care of so many dogs) he looked like he was being wasted- a little thin and oh so sad looking. With some proper care and good food and lots of attention I am quite certain he would look fantastic and make a great companion. Hopefully someone adopts him soon. BTW my mum wanted a bigger dog otherwise we would have taken him.
