We used to feed Gor Gor the stray dog and his two other friends at night in Sutera Utama area,JB. But last week we found him lying on ground weakly and the head was swollen badly and both of his eyes are red, he couldn't even stand. A restaurant worker who work nearby there approached us and told us that he had been bashed by few Vietnamese workers on the afternoon time and they wanted to eat him! Gor Gor is the most friendly one among his gang and we believe that's why those evils were able to catch him easily.
The place where he used to live is actually considered quite safe but some renovation works started there since few weeks back and there comes the Vietnamese workers. He said he heard Gor Gor's loud scream and cries that afternoon and when they ran out they saw those Vietnamese tied Gor Gor up and bashed his head at the renovation site(after vet's examination we found that there's no other injuries on his other body part but only on head, apparently they want him to die fast..). Luckily the kind workers there stopped those Vietnamese, scolded them and complained to their supervisor.
We kept Gor Gor with us for that night and the next morning we rushed him to the vet. He had been hospitalized on 28/5 and discharged on 2/6. He was having high fever that time and the brain pressure is high, therefore was put on drip for the first 4 days of hospitalization to reduce pressure on brain and vet found injuries on his jaw too. He can't eat kibbles but only able to eat soft food.
We've no choice but to approach Hope shelter to help us to keep him temporarily after he been discharged till we have a place for him and after the incident his other friends have changed their territory to another place where there is a very kind security guard there who can feed and care of them...Gor Gor is still on medication now after discharge and we're happy to see that he still love and trust us, he will wag his tail when see us and cry when we leave him but he's now afraid of man especially those with dark skin.
Exact amount of bill is RM385.40 and we sincerely wish to appeal for assistance in subsidizing the medical bill. Thank you very much.
