I used to feed a stray cat at my housing area at Petaling Jaya. He is very fat, healthy and always like to cuddle with me. I'm in the process of finding him a home before something bad happened to him.
He met with an accident on Tuesday 7/5/13 morning as I saw puddles of blood on the floor. I found him lying beside the road with distorted left leg with breathing difficulty.
He recognized me but appeared very weak and did not have appetite at all. I rushed him to the Lee Veterinary Clinic at Kuchai Lama. After examination with x-ray, the doctor told me that his femur was fractured with distorted pelvic, and he has hernia due to a punctured diaphragm (Diaphragmatic hernia) as he breathes abnormally, and also has bladder injuries as his urine is red like blood.
The fractured femur is still not the main concern as without a leg he still can live, the main concern is the hole in his diaphragm that causes his liver and organs to go into his lungs, which will eventually cause suffocation and die.
The medical bill is estimated to cost at least RM1,500 to RM2,000. I would like to appeal for assistance to help save Miao Miao. Thank you very much.
